Wordle from Comments
One of the features of Blogger is the ability to see all comments in one place (see the Stats tab at the top of Posting page). I copied all 127 comments, took out your names, dates and times using MS Word, and then pasted the words into Wordle. Makes for an interesting and revealing picture of what you've been commenting. See the Wordle on the right, double click to enlarge.

ReplyDeleteSome other website that I visited had the wordle in it...I definitely like the concept of this and will try to use it in some way....perhaps when reviewing a chapter; I can show my students their "common ground" or even the areas that the majority struggled with.
ReplyDeleteI loved it just for playing with the look of language. I think it would be great fun for children to make their own simple word searches from particular topics and themes. Also for word matching and recognition.
ReplyDeleteI did notice in the Q&A that someone had asked if you could define the shape that the letters had to fit into and the answer was 'no' which was a suprise to me.I am pretty sure that someone would soon figure it out....not me though.
I dig it! I showed my wife and she's already getting scrapbooking ideas...
