Of any online services we use in our kindergarten class, this one is absolutely the best and most age-appropriate. We use the Brainpop Jr. site, and it has excellent, clear and simple, short videos that are targeted in content and language. I would highly recommend it! Also has other resources, such as online quizzes, activities and lesson ideas.
ReplyDeleteVery good website! Too bad there's nothing about world languages :-(. I'll be able to use it to make connections, though. I also shared this with one of my Language Arts teacher friends and she's very excited about it!

ReplyDeleteI learned quite a lot myself just randomly looking at information on this site. The most difficult thing about sites like this is dragging your self away as there is so much to investigate.

I used BrainPOP Jr this year but I found with third grade, Jr is great at the beginning of the year but I need BrainPOP at the end. I don't like to pay for two subscriptions so I either use it at the beginning of the year or end! It would be great if they just offered one subscription. :(
