Played around with it. Most of the flash cards already made were for higher grades. It would nice if it had a better search feature (like by grades). I didn't get a chance to make my own flash cards so can;t comment about that.
This site is really cool. I like the idea of being able to make flashcards online. It is an easy and convenient way to study. It eliminates having to go through the hassle of buying cards and writing them all out, and with so many kids having smartphones they can probably access these flash cards anywhere.
I LOVE THIS SITE!!! Great find Dr. Heigle! The best part is that I'll be able to put this on my website so my students will be able to either access mine or create their own flashcards to study with and it will be easy for them to get to! And great point Dan - I bet they would be able to get to this from their phones and other gadgets.
Ok, I just played around with this and created an account and some flashcards and (especially for those foreign language teachers out there) these are the perks: 1. instead of re-typing a vocabulary list, just copy and paste into the "import from another source" box 2. you can play games, not just flip flashcards so if you have a smartboard or atleast a computer with a projector in your classroom, you can play during class 3. this list comes up at the bottom of the flashcard "page" (I don't know a better way to describe it) with audio buttons that you can click to hear the pronunciation (with a Spanish accent, too!). 4. you can print the flashcards 5. IT'S FREE!!!
This is awesome and easy! I made a 65-word flashcard list in only a few minutes. Amazing.
