Here's a YouTube channel that does some really cool things with a whiteboard and marker... the Ken Robinson is just one of many. May give you some masterpiece ideas.
This was a very interesting video! I really like the message he tries to convey and the presentation of it is very creative. I think he touched on what I was thinking of doing my Masterpiece on: how can we use technology and how can we get students to use technology to express creativity and ideas better and to get them excited about and involved in what they're learning? (I don't know... it's still just a vague idea floating around in my mind but that's part of the message I got from the video)
Ken Robinson is himself a creative person who has voiced an interesting perspective on "education". He makes some great points on how our students become more inhibited and less creative as they progress through school. So much for many students revolves around peer pressure and not wanting to "stand out or be different" than others. Robinson supports thinking outside the box and I believe it's so exciting when you find a student who can do that. It reminds me of the "Invention Convention" and how students with innovative ideas can display their ideas for inventions. I also found the ADHD map pretty intriguing! THis is a very thought-provoking video!
